WMO/GAW Programme encouraged World Calibration Centre (WCCs) to help improve data quality,
homogenize data from different stations and networks through inter-comparison experiment.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) has played a role as the WCC for SF6 (WCC-SF6) since 2012.
To support GAW stations keep the traceability and compatibility goals,
KMA/NIMS(National Institute of Meteorological Sciences) implements following activities :
① Inter-comparison experiment with Central Calibration Lab (CCL) and GAW stations/labs
② Audits and technical supports
③ Training/Education Course
④ Guidelines/Technical notes
